      <description>Formaldehyde emissions estimator app allows a user to estimate indoor air formaldehyde concentrations from laminate flooring based on characteristics of their house. Back in 2015, the well-known flooring manufacturer Lumber Liquidators, Inc. got in a lot of trouble because of an exposé by 60 Minutes on CBS that Lumber Liquidators&amp;rsquo; flooring contained high amounts of formaldehyde, a known cancer-causing chemical to the State of California. Apparently, Lumber Liquidators was in violation of the California Air Resources Board requirement for the amount of formaldehyde in laminate flooring.</description>
